Insert Dynamic Agent Content with the New Variable Selector

Writing dynamic, personalized prompts for your AI agents just got a whole lot easier.

We’ve added a custom variable selector to the Agent Markdown editor—making it faster and more intuitive to insert dynamic fields like candidate names, job titles, or phone numbers into your message templates.

What’s New

Now, when you’re editing an AI agent’s response or system prompt:

✨ You’ll see a new dropdown menu in the Markdown editor

🖱️ Simply click to choose a custom variable (e.g. {{candidate.first_name}})

🎯 It’s automatically inserted at your cursor’s exact position

🧠 No more memorizing or mistyping variable syntax

Why This Matters

Using custom variables makes your AI responses smarter and more personalized—but until now, it required manually typing or copy-pasting each field, which could lead to errors or broken logic.

With the new selector, you can:

✅ Build complex prompts more confidently

🚫 Eliminate syntax errors or misplaced brackets

🕒 Save time setting up dynamic content for recruiting, support, and sales automations

Whether you're building personalized replies for job candidates or routing logic for voice agents, this upgrade makes every AI message cleaner, clearer, and more context-aware.

Who This Helps

  • Recruiters writing personalized candidate follow-ups
  • Customer service teams customizing auto-replies
  • Admins and builders crafting dynamic workflows with agents
