More Control Over Contact Re-Add Timing in Sequences

You can now customize how often contacts are re-added to sequences—by days, weeks, months, or even years.

Whippy just made automation smarter and more strategic. Instead of relying solely on a “once-per-day” re-add limit, you now have the flexibility to define custom intervals—whether you’re nurturing leads monthly, annually, or rotating campaigns across quarters.

What’s New?

In the Sequence settings, you can now control how often a contact is eligible to be re-added by choosing from:

➤ Days
➤ Weeks
➤ Months
➤ Years

The default remains once per day, but now you can easily configure the timing to suit your long-term automation goals.

Why It Matters

This change gives you deeper control over audience management and long-term engagement strategies. Whether you're running recruitment drip campaigns, product updates, or loyalty programs, this update makes it easy to:

  • Avoid over-messaging contacts
  • Build long-term nurturing automations
  • Re-engage customers based on your sales cycle
  • Space out outreach for low-frequency contacts

It’s also perfect for live audience automations—where users flow in and out of sequences dynamically.

Real Example: Annual Re-Engagement Campaign

Previously: You had to manually monitor contact lists to ensure they didn’t re-enter too soon.

Now: You can set your sequence to “1 time every 1 year.” Combine this with Whippy’s Segments to automatically re-engage contacts when they meet specific conditions (like inactivity or unassignment)—no spreadsheets or manual tracking required.
