Live Sequences Connected to Dynamic Segments
Whippy sequences are now smarter than ever—with live segment syncing that adds and removes contacts automatically, based on real-time data.
What’s New?
You can now connect any saved segment directly to a messaging sequence using the new “Segments” tab on the Sequences screen. Once connected, your sequence becomes live and dynamic:
- New contacts are added automatically when they match the segment
- Contacts are removed if they no longer match the segment filters
- No manual list updates needed—your sequence stays fresh on its own
This is especially powerful for teams migrating from tools like Sense, Iterable, or other automation platforms that rely on dynamic audience syncing.
Why This Matters
Smart automation means less busywork and more targeted communication. With this update, you can:
Eliminate manual list maintenance
Automate outreach based on real-time attributes (job stage, tags, source, etc.)
Save time managing large or fast-changing segments
Ensure the right people get the right message—automatically
For example, if you’re running a re-engagement sequence for passive candidates tagged “cold,” any new cold-tagged contacts will enter the flow automatically—and be removed when their tag or status changes.
This feature is now live for all users and can be accessed from the Segments tab within any sequence.
