New UX Update: Safer Agent Deletion Confirmation

Avoid accidental agent deletions with Whippy’s new safety prompt.
We’ve just rolled out a small—but meaningful—user experience improvement to help protect your team from unintended data loss when managing agents in the Whippy dashboard.
What’s New?
To make deleting agents more intentional, we’ve updated the agent deletion confirmation modal. Now, before the action can be confirmed, users must manually type:
delete me
This added step ensures that accidental clicks don’t result in the permanent loss of agent data.
Key UX Improvements:
✅ The Confirm button stays disabled until the exact phrase is typed
🧠 Adds a layer of thoughtful friction to avoid costly mistakes
🔒 Reinforces safety for irreversible actions
Why This Matters
In fast-paced environments—whether you're running a sales team, managing call center agents, or working across multiple departments—accidental deletions happen. And when they do, recovery isn’t always possible.
This small change:
- Protects against irreversible agent deletions
- Improves workflow safety and user clarity
- Aligns with our mission to help teams communicate confidently and securely
