We’re excited to introduce new billing controls in Whippy, giving admins more flexibility and oversight when managing SMS communications. These updates help you control costs and ensure that messages align with your business standards.

• Emoji Restriction: Admins can now prevent users from including emojis in SMS messages. Emojis often increase message length and can lead to higher billing rates. This feature helps keep SMS communication more concise and cost-effective.
• Message Length Limit: Admins can also set a maximum character length for SMS messages. By capping message size, you can avoid splitting messages into multiple segments, reducing overall SMS costs and maintaining clearer communication guidelines.

These new controls provide greater precision in managing SMS usage, helping businesses avoid unnecessary expenses while maintaining effective communication.
